The main functions to be performed by Estate Department:

• The Estate division is a major department in the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike. Maintenance of all properties of the department, Checking with the Revenue Department, Works Department, Horticulture Department and Zonal / Joint Commissioners on the management of property assets, identifying the newly added and abandoned assets, creating a map and consolidating and management of assets.



• Maintenance of Assets , Maintenance of Documenting, protecting assets, assisting in the prevention and clearing of encroachments and unauthorized pressures.
• To instruct the technical department to install a wire fence to protect the property.
• Sending and verifying proposals from the Regional Superintendent / Joint Commissioner for the purpose of granting BBMP Assets to Public Associations / Persons at a rent, lease or market rate and send it to the Standing Committee and the Policy Committee for approval. Also, computerize information on leased
  assets and publish the information on the website for the benefit of the public.
• Classify property assets into computerized maintenance
• Scan through the computer and connect to the geographic information project.
